Some locksmiths may have the ability to pull up property tax records. Now, if you rent, then you may have to speak to the landlord to get permission.
Alternate Entry Points
You will also want to let your locksmith know if there are any alternate entry points. In some cases, it may be easier to use an alternate entry point than the one that you are trying to have opened. Even in the event that an alternate entry point cannot be used to access the home, the locksmith still needs to know if there is one.
